Job Summary:
- Review new tariffs and monitor the success of existing ones to ensure volume growth and profitability
- Monitor the customer rate increase processes, customer discount reviews, and fuel surcharge implementations
- Support sales in regional and country Request For Quotations (RFQ)
- Identify areas of opportunities in terms of product differentiation, network improvements, niche markets, and new markets
- To translate and deploy at country level the divisional & regional marketing strategy
- Put together a top level country marketing business plan in alignment with the country and regional strategy, and review it regularly.
- Communicates and gains support from Country management for the achievement of marketing communications objectives.
- Provide strategic counsel on corporate, public and customer communications; development and implementation of communication plans and programmes in support of strategic objectives, including product launches.
- Development of internal and external campaigns and production of sales collateral and product brochures with regional and country requirements
- Ensure consistency of TNT corporate identity in all communications materials as well as in signages, depots, etc.
- Identifies appropriate suppliers & vendors, and manages them effectively (e.g. PR agency, Marketing agency, print suppliers, gifts, etc)
- Regional Co-ordinator for CLM survey on Key Performance Indicators in terms of trending, ranking and functional categories to provide regional and country management with appropriate management tool to measure performance so as to analyze and generate report provided by GHO on measurements, and then disseminate to countries and region for middle level management policy changes to improve performance.
- Practice cost-conscious management in all projects to apply cost management to suppliers and media houses, so that value added products and services can be delivered at optimum cost.
- Ensure effective budget planning and activity allocation in all marketing communications activities
- Creates a positive and collaborative team environment (in Marketing & with other departments) through effective and open communication
- Provide support in the gathering, analysing and dissemination of market competitive data and intelligence to facilitate senior management decision-making process.
Qualification:
- Degree level preferably BA/MBA
- Microsoft Office proficient
- 2 years experience in Commercial, Costing, Finance, Marketing, communications or relevant background
- International Express or Logistics industry background
- Organizational awareness (structure and products & services)
- Business to business selling skills
- Communication capability at a senior level, both internally and externally
- Recognized general and people management skills
- MS Excel and database skills are essential to succeed in this job
- Ability to interpret and apply Value Based Management principles, financial reporting, activity based costing
- Fluent use of written and spoken English
