Somalia - 21st May 2012
Service Suspension
Services to Somalia will be suspended effective 4th June due to the prevailing political unrest in the country.
Law and order has rapidly deteriorated over the past couple of weeks and there are frequent breakdowns in communication links.
All consignments picked up until 3rd June and forwarded to Somalia will still be delivered by the old Associate and Proof of Deliveries will be updated accordingly.
Germany - 15th May 2012
Major delays expected in Frankfurt, Germany ( FRT ) 16.05.2012 till 20.05.2012
Please be informed that major delays to deliveries and collections are to be expected in the inner city and financial districts of Frankfurt, Germany
from Wednesday 16th May 2012 until Saturday 19th May 2012. This is due to a series of demonstrations aimed at the financial sector and against a meeting of the heads of the European Central Bank. German police are in the process of setting up roadblocks and certain areas of Frankfurt are expected to be completely sealed off to the public.

Algeria - 10th May 2012
PARLIAMENTARY ELECTION
Please be informed that TNT Algeria is currently affected due to prevailing political unrest in the country. All Government, Banks and Private sector organisations have stopped their activities for the day due to the current situation. Pick ups and deliveries all over Algeria are affected. The Government has announced a special holiday on 10th of May 2012 due to the parliamentary election.
Mali - 2nd May 2012
Military Action
The new regime in Mali have decided to close all terrestrial and aerial borders. Due to this measure all pick ups and deliveries will be impacted. The situation should return to normal on Monday the 7th May 2012.
