ReadSpeaker makes it possible for our visitors to listen to the website text, making our website fully accessible for people who find reading difficult. It is very simple and quick to use. 
We also provide an RSS feed so that you can receive the latest press information from TNT Express.  Simply sign up for our RSS feed service and you’ll always have the latest Express news at your fingertips.

  • Readspeaker

    How does ReadSpeaker work?

    You can activate Readspeaker by clicking the "Listen to page" button, which is found on every page within our website (see Page Options at top right). Once you click the button, the page or a selected text can be heard.  Pressing the button activates the software on the ReadSpeaker server, which converts the text into spoken words. These words are then transfered to your PC in MP3 or wav format. The Flashplayer on your computer is activated and starts reading the selected text.

    What are the benefits for the user and website visitor?

    ReadSpeaker converts text in a fast and easy way into spoken words.
    The benefits are:
    ■  Maximum flexibility as the visitor can decide what content should be read by
        "highlighting" text
    ■  Visitors can change the standard settings of the webpage to his/her specific
        preferences, such as size, graphic design, character type, character colour and
        background. These changes can be saved
    ■  Visitors do not need to own text-to-speech software to use ReadSpeaker
    ■  The software works on most client computers
    ■  The software works on most Internet browsers

    Please note that ReadSpeaker cannot read Flash-pages or Acrobat-PDF documents.

Using an RSS reader, you can quickly and easily read news from various websites without actually having to visit them. More and more websites are offering RSS feed services these days.

    To read an RSS feed, you need an RSS reader, usually available free of charge on the Internet. The most commonly used RSS readers are:
